ISM alumna’s work gets an Oscar nod

An ISM alumna, and now a short-film producer, shares great news: one of her films, God of Love (2010) is nominated for an Oscar in the Best Live-Action Short Film category! Congrats, Stefanie Walmsley! She says, “God of Love was rejected by Tribeca, Sundance, and Slamdance…and then nominated for an Oscar.  Not a bad consolaton prize and a great reminder that a ‘no’ from one isn’t a ‘no’ from everyone.” Inspiring advice! For more, here’s an interview with Stefanie published in The Inquirer.
