By now, I assume you have read From Morn to Midnight. For your next session,  please write a journal in essay form that discusses specific examples of what is expressionist about the play in terms of (1) theme, (2) text, (3) characterization, and (4) staging.  For each category, supply a visual (a sketch, a diagram, etc.). This journal will be graded on content and presentation. Quotes must be acknowledged.
